Common questions about the Tails Pop! Games from Funko (2013).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Tails Pop! Games figure is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released by Funko in 2013 as part of their initial Games line, meaning it was widely available and produced in large quantities. While original 2013 figures may be harder to find in mint condition today due to age, the item itself is a common collectible.
The Tails Pop! Games figure (SKU 07) is a common item from Funko's early 2013 production run, and its value is generally low for the average collector. In mint, sealed condition, it typically sells for between $5 and $15 on the secondary market, while unboxed copies often go for less than $5. Prices can fluctuate slightly based on current demand and the specific condition of the packaging.
It is not possible to authenticate a Tails Pop! Games figure from 2013 because Funko did not release a "Pop! Games" line in that year, and the Tails character was not part of the initial 2013 Sonic the Hedgehog Pop! Vinyl release. The first Tails Pop! Vinyl figure was released in 2014, and the "Pop! Games" branding was introduced later. Therefore, any item labeled as a 2013 Tails Pop! Games figure is likely a misidentified product, a counterfeit, or a mislabeled listing.
The Tails Pop! Games was released in 2013 by Funko.
The Tails Pop! Games figure (SKU 07) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. It was part of the original 2013 Sonic the Hedgehog line and is now considered a discontinued item, meaning any available copies are second-hand.
There is no official grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so condition is assessed visually by the buyer. You should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, chipped plastic, or misaligned eyes, and verify that the figure is securely seated in its display base. Additionally, check the box for any dents, tears, or fading, as the packaging significantly impacts the item's value for collectors.
