No, the Takeshi Kovacs (Wedge Sleeves) Pop! Television figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2020 for the Altered series, and it was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. Because it is a common variant of a popular TV character, it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited edition or exclusive releases.
The standard retail price for the 2020 Funko Pop! Television #926 Takeshi Kovacs (Wedge Sleeves) is typically between $12.99 and $15.99. Because this is a standard production figure from a popular series, its value generally does not exceed its original retail price unless it is in a sealed box with a significant premium, in which case it might fetch slightly more on the secondary market.
You can authenticate your Funko Pop! Television figure by checking the bottom of the box for the official Funko logo, the SKU number 926, and a barcode that matches the manufacturer's records. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper joint articulation, and the correct sculpt details specific to the "Wedge Sleeves" variant, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy paint lines or incorrect proportions. If the packaging feels flimsy, lacks the standard Funko branding, or the figure has significant defects, it may be a replica, so comparing it to high-resolution images of the authentic 2020 release is recommended.
The Takeshi Kovacs (Wedge Sleeves) Pop! Television was released in 2020 by Funko.
The Takeshi Kovacs (Wedge Sleeves) Pop! Television figure is currently out of print and is no longer available to purchase new from Funko or major retail partners. To condition-check this figure, inspect the plastic for stress marks, cracks, or mold lines, paying close attention to the articulated joints and the wedge sleeves. Verify that the paint application is clean and free of smudges, and ensure the eyes are properly aligned and intact. If you intend to have it professionally graded, the figure must be placed in a protective slab by a service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its overall cosmetic condition.
