Common questions about the Tan France Pop! Television from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Tan France Pop! Television (SKU 1389) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure released in 2023 as part of the popular "Queer Eye" series, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in retail stores and online marketplaces.
The value of the Tan France Pop! Television (SKU 1389) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened figures typically trading between $10 and $15 on secondary markets. Prices for opened figures are generally lower, often ranging from $5 to $10. As a standard mass-production release from 2023, this item does not carry a premium over its original retail price, and its value is primarily determined by current supply and demand among casual collectors.
You can authenticate your Tan France Pop! Television by verifying that the box features the official Funko logo and a holographic security sticker, which is a standard anti-counterfeiting measure for recent releases. The figure itself should have a smooth, consistent plastic finish with sharp, clean edges and accurate paint application, particularly on the hair and facial features. Additionally, the base of the figure typically includes a molded copyright symbol and the year of manufacture, which should align with the 2023 release date. If the packaging lacks these specific security features or the figure feels lightweight and poorly molded, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Tan France Pop! Television was released in 2023 by Funko.
As of my last update, the Tan France Pop! Television (SKU 1389) is generally considered out of print and is no longer available for purchase directly from Funko. While Funko occasionally reissues popular figures, there is no current indication that this specific 2023 release has been reprinted, meaning new copies are likely only available through third-party resellers at a premium.
To condition-check a Tan France Pop! Television, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the face and hands where wear is most common. Verify that the figure is securely seated within the window of its original box, as a loose or missing figure significantly impacts value. Check the box itself for dings, creases, or fading, and ensure the window is free of cracks or heavy scratches. If you require a formal grade for resale or insurance, submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on these factors.
