Common questions about the Taylor Hall Pop! Hockey from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Taylor Hall Pop! Hockey figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's regular hockey line, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in retail stores and online marketplaces.
The value of a Taylor Hall Pop! Hockey figure varies significantly based on its condition, whether it is sealed in the box, and current market demand. As a standard production item, it typically sells for a modest price, often ranging from $5 to $15 for loose figures and slightly more for sealed boxes, but specific pricing requires checking recent sales data on secondary markets like eBay.
To authenticate your Taylor Hall Pop! Hockey figure, first verify that the packaging is a sealed, original Funko box with the correct SKU number 34 and the standard Funko logo. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper proportions, and the specific sculpted details of Hall's helmet and jersey, as counterfeits often feature sloppy painting or incorrect facial features. You can also compare the base and the figure's weight against a known authentic example, as fakes frequently use lighter materials or have uneven bases. If the item lacks the official Funko branding on the box or the figure exhibits significant quality deviations, it is likely a reproduction.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Taylor Hall Pop! Hockey figure with SKU 34. While Funko regularly releases NHL player figures, exact launch dates for specific numbered SKUs are not consistently documented in public records, so I cannot provide a verified timeline without speculating.
Funko has discontinued the production of the Taylor Hall Pop! Hockey figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While the item is no longer available through official retail channels, it may occasionally appear on the secondary market through resellers, though availability is sporadic.
To condition-check a Taylor Hall Pop! Hockey figure, inspect the vinyl for any cracks, chips, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the head, hands, and the hockey stick if included. Verify that the figure is properly seated within its box and that the window is free of scratches or cloudiness, as these factors significantly impact resale value. While third-party grading services like PSA can provide a standardized condition grade, most casual collectors rely on visual inspection and the presence of the original packaging to determine the item's state.
