Common questions about the Te Fiti Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Te Fiti Pop! Disney (SKU 420) is not considered rare, as it is a standard production figure from the *Moana* line that was widely distributed in retail stores. It is a common collectible that is frequently available on the secondary market, so it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited editions or exclusive variants.
The value of a Funko Pop! Te Fiti (SKU 420) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened factory-sealed figures typically commanding a higher premium than opened ones. As a standard release from the *Moana* line, it is generally considered a common item, so its market price usually fluctuates between $10 and $25 for new stock, depending on current retail availability and collector demand.
To authenticate your Te Fiti Pop! (SKU 420), first verify that the figure is made of solid vinyl with a matte finish, as counterfeit versions often use glossy plastic or resin. Check the base for a clean, crisp "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is consistent without bleeding, which is common in fakes. You can also cross-reference the SKU number on the box against official Funko listings, though note that the absence of a box does not automatically indicate a counterfeit if the figure itself meets these physical criteria.
Funko does not publish official release dates for individual Pop! Vinyl figures, so there is no confirmed launch date for the Te Fiti Pop! (SKU 420). While the character originates from the 2016 film Moana, specific production and distribution timelines for this figure are not reliably documented in public records.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Te Fiti Pop! Disney (SKU 420) is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. As with many specific Disney character figures, availability fluctuates, and this item may be out of production, making it primarily available through the secondary market.
There is no official third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by checking for common defects such as paint transfer, hairline cracks, or missing accessories. Look specifically for issues on the face, such as uneven eyes or chipped paint, and verify that the figure is securely seated in its base. If you are buying a sealed box, inspect the packaging for dents, tears, or signs of tampering, as the box condition significantly impacts the item's value.
