The Captain Pop! Movies (SKU 1291) is a standard production run item, so its value is generally close to its original retail price, typically between $10 and $15. Because it is a common release from 2022, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market unless it is in a sealed box or part of a complete set. To authenticate your Funko Pop! #1291 "The Captain," first verify the packaging integrity, including the sealed plastic window and the specific SKU 1291 printed on the box. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp edges, and the correct character design, as counterfeiters often introduce minor flaws in these details. Cross-reference the product against official Funko catalog images for the 2022 release to ensure the color scheme and accessories match the genuine item. If the box or figure shows signs of tampering, inconsistent font on the label, or poor paint quality, it may be a replica.
