To authenticate your SooSooToys The Gentlemoon (SST049), first verify the manufacturer's logo and model number SST049 are clearly and cleanly printed on the packaging or base. Inspect the vinyl for consistent color, smooth seams, and a secure, non-creaking joint mechanism, as poor molding or loose articulation are common signs of counterfeits. Since SooSooToys is a smaller designer brand, cross-reference the item's specific design details against the official 2023 release specifications, and if possible, check for a holographic sticker or QR code on the box if the manufacturer included one for that production run.

The Gentlemoon (SST049) is a 2023 release from SooSooToys. As a specific numbered or limited edition figure, it is generally considered out of print and is no longer sold new directly from the manufacturer. Availability for new units is typically limited to remaining stock at authorized retailers or through the secondary market.
To condition-check The Gentlemoon, inspect the vinyl surface under bright, even lighting to identify any mold lines, paint imperfections, or scuffs. Verify that the articulated joints move smoothly without excessive play or stiffness, and check that the included accessories are present and undamaged. For a formal grade, the figure should be sent to a third-party grading service such as Beckett or PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on factory condition, paint, and structural integrity.
