The Grabber Pop! Movies (SKU 1488) is not considered a rare item, as it was part of a standard 2023 movie release and is not a limited edition, exclusive, or chase variant. These figures are generally widely available through major retailers and secondary markets, making them relatively easy to find for collectors.
The Grabber Pop! Movies (Funko SKU 1488) is a standard retail item that typically sells for its original retail price of approximately $12.00 to $15.00. Because it is a common release from 2023, it does not command a premium in the secondary market, and its value remains stable near the retail baseline for both new and lightly used copies.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! The Grabber (SKU 1488), first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with the correct Funko logo and product details printed on the back. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper articulation of the grabber arm, and the standard Funko Pop! head shape, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, uneven seams, or poor plastic quality. If the figure is unboxed, compare its dimensions and weight against a known authentic example, and check the bottom of the figure for a molded "Funko" logo, which is a standard feature on genuine products.
The The Grabber Pop! Movies was released in 2023 by Funko.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Funko Pop! Movies: The Grabber (SKU 1488) is currently in print or available to buy new from official retailers. As a 2023 release, it is likely out of production, and availability is typically limited to the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, misaligned eyes, or seam lines, as well as any physical damage like cracks or scuffs. For grading, you can submit the item to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its overall condition and place it in a protective slab. Be aware that the 2023 release of The Grabber Pop! is relatively recent, so graded examples are less common than older vintage figures.
