The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Joker on the Beach (1989) Pop! Heroes is not considered a rare item. It is a standard production figure from Funko's 2024 release wave, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers. Its common status is reflected in its low production volume relative to limited-edition variants, making it an accessible entry point for collectors of the Pop! Heroes line.
The Joker on the Beach (1989) Pop! Heroes (SKU 520) is a 2024 release, so its value is primarily determined by the standard retail price, which is typically around $12.00 for the standard vinyl figure. Because it is a recent release, the market value for a new, sealed figure generally hovers near retail, while used figures may trade slightly below that price. Specific premium variants or limited editions could command a higher price, but the base model does not have significant collector markup yet.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! The Joker on the Beach (1989) (SKU 520), first verify the box seal is intact and the window is undamaged. Check that the figure's paint is crisp with no bleeding or smudging, and confirm the base is flat and free of manufacturing defects. Cross-reference the SKU 520 against Funko's official 2024 catalog to ensure the product matches the expected color scheme and pose. If the figure appears off-color or the box lacks the standard Funko branding, it may be a counterfeit.

Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verifying that the head and body connect securely without gaps.
