The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Sanderson Sisters (Spell on You) Pop! is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-production figure from the Disney line released in 2022, meaning it was widely available to the general public and is not a limited edition, exclusive, or chase variant.
The Sanderson Sisters (Spell on You) Pop! Disney (SKU 1202) is a standard retail release from 2022, and its value is primarily determined by its condition and whether it remains in its original sealed box. As a common item, it typically sells for near its original retail price or slightly less on the secondary market, with unopened copies generally commanding a small premium over loose figures. There is no significant collector demand for this specific SKU that would drive the price above standard retail levels.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! #1202, first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo, the Disney licensing mark, and a barcode that matches the SKU 1202. Inspect the physical figure for consistent paint application, clean seams, and the correct "Spell on You" pose, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, misaligned parts, or off-color plastics. If the packaging appears damaged or the figure feels unusually light or poorly molded, it may be a replica, so comparing it against high-resolution images of the authentic 2022 release is recommended.
The The Sanderson Sisters (Spell on You) Pop! Disney was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation for this specific figure, so it remains technically in print. However, availability for the 2022 release is often inconsistent, and the item may be out of stock at major retailers. You should check current inventory on Funko's official website or authorized resellers to confirm if it is available for purchase new.
To condition-check this Funko Pop, inspect the vinyl surface for any scuffs, scratches, or paint chips, paying close attention to the hands, hats, and the broomstick. Verify that the figure is securely seated on the base without excessive wobble and that the box is free of major creases, water damage, or significant wear, as these factors significantly impact resale value. While professional grading services like PSA can provide a standardized score, most collectors assess the item's condition visually based on the presence of these common defects.
