Common questions about the The Scientist Pop! Games from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Scientist Pop! Games is not considered rare, as it was a standard production release from Funko's 2020 lineup. It was widely distributed through major retailers and is generally available on the secondary market.
I cannot find reliable information regarding the specific market value of the 2020 Funko Pop! Games The Scientist (SKU 618). As a niche item from a specific year, its price fluctuates based on condition and local demand, so I recommend checking current listings on secondary marketplaces like eBay or StockX for accurate, up-to-date valuations.
To authenticate your 2020 Funko Pop! Games: The Scientist (SKU 618), first verify that the box is sealed with the correct SKU and that the figure matches the official product images in terms of color, pose, and base design. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and the year of manufacture, which should align with the 2020 release date. While there is no single definitive "authenticity mark" for standard vinyl figures, significant deviations in paint quality, plastic texture, or packaging details are strong indicators of a counterfeit. If the item appears suspicious, comparing it side-by-side with a verified authentic example from a reputable retailer is the most reliable method for confirmation.
The The Scientist Pop! Games was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation of The Scientist Pop! Games (SKU 618), so it is likely still in print. However, availability can fluctuate, and specific game variants may be harder to find than standard figures. You should check current stock on Funko's official website or major retailers to confirm immediate availability.
There is no official third-party grading service for Funko Pop! vinyl figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the figure for paint flaws, scratches, or mold lines and verifying that the original box is free of significant damage. For the specific 2020 release with SKU 618, check that the figure is securely seated in the window and that the packaging has not been opened or resealed, as these factors significantly impact resale value. If you require a professional valuation for insurance or high-stakes sales, consult a local collectibles appraiser, as major grading companies like PSA do not grade this category of item.
