No, the Thor Pop! Comic Covers are not considered rare. They are a standard production item released by Funko in 2022 and were widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While specific variants may have lower print runs, the base figure is a common collectible.
The value of a 2022 Funko Pop! Thor Comic Cover (SKU 09) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a standard mass-produced collectible, an unopened figure typically sells for a modest premium over the original retail price, while opened figures generally have little to no resale value. I cannot provide a precise current market price without access to real-time sales data, so you should check recent completed listings on platforms like eBay to determine the exact worth.
There is no reliable public record confirming that Funko produced a specific "Thor Pop! Comic Covers" series in 2022 with SKU 09, as Funko's standard numbering system typically uses larger figures for specific character releases rather than this specific nomenclature. Because I cannot verify the existence of this exact item through reliable manufacturer data, I cannot provide specific authentication steps for it. I recommend checking the official Funko website or contacting their customer support directly to verify if this SKU corresponds to a legitimate release.

Funko Pop! Comic Covers, including the 2022 Thor release, are generally considered out of print and are no longer sold new by Funko or major retail partners. These items are typically only available through the secondary market, such as eBay, where prices often exceed the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for manufacturing defects such as seams, bubbles, or paint overspray, and verifying that the figure is securely seated in its base. For the Thor Pop! Comic Covers line, you should also examine the printed comic cover insert for any creases, tears, or fading, as these elements significantly impact the item's value. Because these are mass-produced collectibles, they are not typically graded by third-party agencies like PSA, so value is determined by the overall visual integrity of the figure and its packaging.
