To authenticate your Thorin Oakenshield 1/6 figure, verify that the UPC 47876757553290 on the packaging matches the manufacturer's official records for InArt. Examine the sculpting quality, paint application, and material consistency, as counterfeit items often exhibit poor detail, uneven coloring, or cheap plastic. If the packaging lacks proper branding or the figure feels significantly lighter than expected, it may be a replica, so comparing it against verified images from authorized retailers is recommended.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the InArt Thorin Oakenshield 1/6 scale figure. While InArt has produced various 1/6 scale collectibles, the exact launch timing for this specific item is not clearly documented in available sources.
InArt is a defunct manufacturer that ceased operations several years ago, meaning the Thorin Oakenshield 1/6 scale figure is no longer in print. Consequently, it is not available to buy new from the manufacturer or authorized retail channels. Collectors seeking this item must look to the secondary market, such as online auction sites or specialized toy resellers, where availability and pricing are subject to fluctuation.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for 1/6 scale collectible figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the figure for paint chips, stress cracks, loose joints, and fabric wear. Check the packaging for any damage, as original boxes significantly impact value, and note that InArt figures are typically sold as new items where any signs of play or aging reduce their market price.
