Common questions about the Tikka Pop! Movies from Funko (2018).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Tikka Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2018 release of the movie *Tikka*, which was part of a broader wave of Funko releases for that year. As a common retail item, it is widely available in the secondary market and does not possess the limited production numbers or exclusivity required to be classified as rare.
The Tikka Pop! Movies figure (SKU 559) is a standard production item from 2018 that typically sells for between $5 and $15 in retail or secondary markets. Its value is primarily determined by its condition and whether it is sealed in the original box, with mint-condition sealed figures commanding the higher end of that range.
To authenticate your 2018 Tikka Pop! Movies figure (SKU 559), first verify that the box is sealed with the correct Funko branding and that the figure itself features the standard vinyl material with the characteristic matte finish. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright mark and the specific SKU number, which should match the 559 listed on the packaging. Since Funko does not include unique serial numbers on standard retail figures, authenticity is primarily determined by the quality of the paint application, the clarity of the logo, and the presence of the official Funko Pop! logo on the box. If the figure feels lightweight, has rough seams, or the box lacks the standard Funko design elements, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Tikka Pop! Movies was released in 2018 by Funko.
The Tikka Pop! Movies figure (SKU 559) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2018 release, it is considered out of production, meaning any new units found on the market are likely from remaining retailer stock or are resold items.
There is no standardized third-party grading service specifically for individual Funko Pop! figures, so condition is typically assessed by the seller or buyer using common descriptors like "Mint in Box" or "Lightly Played." To check the condition of the Tikka figure, inspect the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or discoloration, and verify that the box is free from significant damage, fading, or missing parts. Be aware that the 2018 release of this character may have variations in packaging or figure quality compared to later re-releases, so compare your copy against high-resolution images of a known good example.
