The Tin Man Pop! Movies figure (SKU 38) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2013. Because it was widely available in retail stores and online marketplaces for many years, it remains a common item in the secondary market. Collectors typically find this figure in mint condition for a modest price, well below the threshold for significant rarity.
The value of the 2013 Tin Man Pop! Movies figure (SKU 38) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. Generally, an unopened figure in good condition trades for approximately $10 to $20, while a loose figure typically sells for less. Prices for this specific vintage item can fluctuate, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is the most reliable way to determine its current market value.
The most reliable method to authenticate your Funko Pop! is to verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself matches the official product images in terms of paint application, sculpt details, and proportions. You can cross-reference the SKU number 38 against Funko’s official catalog to confirm the specific release, as genuine items from 2013 typically feature the standard "Funko" logo on the base and consistent plastic quality. If the figure exhibits significant paint overspray, misaligned eyes, or a missing holographic sticker on the box, it may be a counterfeit, and consulting a reputable third-party authentication service is recommended for definitive verification.

Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for paint defects, scratches, or mold lines, and verifying that the box is free from significant wear, creases, or damage. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party certification service such as Beckett (BGS) or PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on specific criteria like color, centering, and surface quality. Be aware that grading fees and turnaround times vary by service, and the process is irreversible.
