To authenticate your Hot Toys TMS 081 Purge Trooper, first verify that the packaging includes the official Hot Toys logo, the specific SKU 913803, and a holographic security sticker. Inspect the figure for high-quality paint application, crisp sculpting, and the presence of the numbered certificate of authenticity, which is standard for this manufacturer's premium line. If the item lacks these specific identifiers or the packaging appears worn and unsealed, it may be a counterfeit, so consulting a reputable third-party authentication service is recommended for definitive verification.

The Hot Toys TMS 081 Purge Trooper is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from the manufacturer. As a 2022 release, it is considered a discontinued item, and any current listings for new stock are likely from remaining third-party inventory or are mislabeled. Collectors seeking this figure should look to the secondary market for used or open-box examples.
Condition-checking a Hot Toys TMS 081 Purge Trooper involves inspecting the sculpt for stress cracks, particularly around the joints and helmet, and verifying that the paint application is free of scratches or fading. You should also examine the included accessories, such as the blaster and stand, for signs of wear or damage, and confirm that the figure's articulation points move smoothly without excessive play. Since this is a 1/6th scale collectible, minor scuffs on the fabric uniform are common, but significant damage to the plastic components or missing parts will significantly impact its value.
