Common questions about the TMS 165 Spider-Man 1977 from Hot Toys (2026).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the existence of a Hot Toys product with the specific SKU 914844 or MPN TMS165 for a 1977 Spider-Man figure released in 2026. Because this item does not appear in current manufacturer catalogs or verified market databases, I cannot determine its rarity or authenticity.
The TMS 165 Spider-Man 1977 originally retailed for $255.00. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it, and the provided details suggest potential inconsistencies, as Hot Toys is a manufacturer of 1/6th scale figures, not 1977 vintage toys. The SKU and UPC provided do not correspond to a known, verifiable product in standard collector databases, and a 2026 release date for a 1977 character is likely a projection or error. To authenticate a genuine Hot Toys figure, you should check for the official Hot Toys logo on the packaging, verify the product code on the box matches their official catalog, and inspect the figure for high-quality sculpting and articulation typical of their 1/6th scale line.
The TMS 165 Spider-Man 1977 was released in 2026 by Hot Toys.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the TMS 165 Spider-Man 1977 is currently in print or available for purchase new. As a 2026 release, this item is likely not yet available on the market, and specific stock availability for future Hot Toys releases is typically not published until closer to the launch date.
I cannot provide reliable grading criteria for this item because the provided data lists a 2026 release date, which is in the future, and the manufacturer Hot Toys does not produce items under the "TMS" prefix. Consequently, there is no established condition standard or market history for this specific SKU, and I cannot speculate on its grading process.
