I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it in person. To authenticate your Hot Toys TMS 18 Captain Rex, check for the presence of a holographic security sticker, a unique serial number, and a QR code on the packaging that links to the official Hot Toys verification portal. Additionally, inspect the figure for high-quality paint application, crisp molding, and the correct manufacturer markings on the base and accessories, as counterfeit items often exhibit poor detail and misspelled text.

Hot Toys typically produces its 1/6th scale Star Wars figures in limited production runs, and the TMS 18 Captain Rex (MPN TMS018) from 2020 is no longer in print. To grade the Hot Toys TMS 18 Captain Rex, inspect the figure for common wear points such as paint transfer on the armor, scuffing on the plastic, and discoloration on the fabric cape. Check the articulation points for looseness and ensure all included accessories, such as the blaster and display stand, are present and undamaged. For a formal market value assessment, the figure should be submitted to a professional grading service like Beckett Grading Services (BGS) or Action Figure Grading (AFG), which will assign a numerical score based on the condition of the figure, packaging, and accessories.
