You can verify the authenticity of your Hot Toys Winter Soldier by checking for the official Hot Toys logo and copyright information on the packaging and the figure's base. Genuine figures from 2021 typically feature high-quality paint applications, precise sculpting, and a specific SKU (908033) printed on the box. If the packaging lacks these details, the UPC does not match the manufacturer's records, or the figure exhibits poor paint quality, it is likely a counterfeit. For a definitive assessment, you can contact Hot Toys customer service with photos of the item's markings and packaging.

Hot Toys typically produces its Movie Masterpiece figures in limited initial runs, and the Winter Soldier (TMS 39) was released in 2021. As a result, this specific item is generally considered out of print and is no longer available for purchase new directly from the manufacturer. Collectors looking for new stock must rely on third-party retailers or secondary marketplaces, where availability is sporadic and prices often exceed the original retail value.
To condition-check the Hot Toys TMS 39 Winter Soldier, inspect the PVC body for stress cracks, particularly around the joints and the shield, and verify that the paint on the armor and face is free of chips or fading. Examine the included accessories, such as the shield and weapons, for scuffs or missing parts, and ensure the display stand is intact. For a formal grade, you must submit the figure to a professional third-party grading service like Beckett, CGC, or PSA, as there is no standardized retail grading scale for 1/6 scale action figures.
