I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without inspecting it, and the provided UPC (4900000000000) is a placeholder that does not correspond to a verifiable Hot Toys product. To authenticate a genuine TMS 68 Fennec Shand, you should check for the official Hot Toys logo and copyright markings on the packaging, verify the specific SKU TMS068 on the box, and examine the figure for high-quality paint application, precise sculpting, and the correct articulation points typical of the 1/6th scale line. If the item lacks these details or the packaging appears low-quality, it is likely a counterfeit.
The TMS 68 Fennec Shand was released in 2021 by Hot Toys.
The Hot Toys TMS 68 Fennec Shand is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from the manufacturer. As a 2021 release, it has been discontinued, meaning any new stock is limited to remaining inventory at third-party retailers or independent collectors.
Condition-checking a Hot Toys 1/6th scale figure like the TMS 068 Fennec Shand involves inspecting the head sculpt for paint transfer, hairline cracks, or discoloration, particularly around the eyes and lips. You should examine the body for stress marks on the joints, loose limbs, or missing accessories, while also verifying that the included weapons and props are intact and free from scuffs. Since Hot Toys does not have a standardized third-party grading system like trading cards, value is typically determined by the overall cosmetic state and the presence of all original packaging and inserts.
