To grade a TMS 88 Groot, you should inspect the vinyl surface for hairline cracks, paint chips, or scuffs, paying close attention to the head, hands, and base where wear is most common. Check that the articulation points move smoothly without excessive play or stiffness, and verify that the included accessories are present and undamaged. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a professional grading service, though for most collectors, a simple visual inspection for these specific defects is sufficient to determine its condition.
