Common questions about the Troy Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).

The Troy Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2023 as part of their regular movie licensing line, meaning it was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces.
The Troy Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1368) is a standard retail collectible that typically sells for its original retail price of approximately $12.00 to $15.00 when new in box. Because it is a common item from a major release, it does not generally command a premium in the secondary market, and used copies are often worth less than the retail price.
To authenticate your Troy Pop! Movies figure, verify that the SKU 1368 and copyright information are clearly printed on the bottom of the base and the packaging. Examine the paint application for consistency, ensuring there are no significant airbrushing artifacts, and check that the vinyl has the characteristic Funko matte finish without excessive gloss. While I cannot inspect your specific item for definitive verification, comparing these physical details against official Funko product images is the standard method for confirming authenticity.

Funko Pop! figures are generally produced in limited runs and are not permanently in print, so the 2023 Troy figure (SKU 1368) is likely no longer available new from primary retailers. While Funko occasionally reissues popular titles, there is no current indication that this specific movie figure has been reprinted. Consequently, new copies are typically only found in the secondary market, such as on eBay or other collectibles platforms, where prices may vary based on condition and demand.
Grading a Funko Pop! figure like the Troy Movie edition typically involves assessing the condition of the vinyl, packaging, and any included accessories on a scale from 1.0 to 10.0. For professional grading, you would submit the item to a third-party service such as PSA, CGC, or Beckett, which will inspect the figure for defects like scratches, paint chips, or seam lines and assign a numerical score. If you are checking the condition yourself, examine the figure under bright light for surface imperfections and verify that the box is free of creases, tears, or fading, as these factors significantly impact the item's value.
