Common questions about the Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum Pop! is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Disney line that was widely distributed and is generally available for purchase on the secondary market. Its common status means it does not carry a significant premium over its original retail price.
The value of a Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum Funko Pop! Disney figure varies significantly based on its condition, whether it is sealed in the box, and the specific release year. As a standard retail item, an unopened figure typically trades for between $10 and $25, while opened figures generally have lower resale value. Prices for rare variants or limited editions can be higher, but accurate valuations require checking current listings on secondary markets like eBay to see recent sold prices.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! figure, first verify that the packaging is intact with the correct UPC code and that the figure itself has a smooth, uniform finish without visible mold lines or paint bleed. Check the base for a clear, legible copyright stamp and ensure the eyes are properly aligned and glossy, as poor eye quality is a common indicator of counterfeits. While specific manufacturing details for the Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum set are not publicly documented for authentication purposes, comparing your figure side-by-side with high-resolution images from Funko’s official website or reputable retailers can help identify discrepancies in proportions and color accuracy.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific release dates for individual Pop! figures in their official documentation. While the characters originate from the 1951 film Alice in Wonderland, the exact launch date for this specific two-pack figure is not reliably documented in available public records.
Funko does not publicly disclose real-time print status for specific Disney Pop! figures, so definitive confirmation of whether this item is currently in production is not available. While the figure is widely available from third-party retailers and resellers, it is frequently sold out on Funko's official website, suggesting it may be out of print or in limited supply.
You can grade this figure by submitting it to a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on factors like paint application, seam lines, and overall wear. For a less formal condition check, inspect the vinyl under bright light for any scratches, scuffs, or molding imperfections, and verify that the figure is securely seated within its original window box. If the packaging is damaged or the figure has been removed, its value as a collectible typically decreases significantly compared to a sealed, mint-condition item.
