The Tyrannosaurus Rex (Amber) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. While specific color variants can sometimes command higher prices due to limited production runs, this figure is a common collectible with no special exclusivity markers.
The Tyrannosaurus Rex (Amber) Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1380) is a standard retail collectible, and its value is typically determined by current market demand rather than a fixed price. As a 2023 release, it generally trades at or near its original retail price, usually between $12 and $15, depending on the seller and condition. There is no widely recognized premium for this specific variant, so it does not command a significant markup over its base value.
To authenticate your 2023 Tyrannosaurus Rex (Amber) Pop! Movies figure, verify that the packaging includes the official Funko logo, a barcode, and a holographic security sticker on the front. The figure itself should feature the specific amber colorway with a clear plastic window on the back of the box, and the base should be stamped with the Funko logo and the year 2023. If the packaging lacks these security features or the figure has poor paint application, it may be a counterfeit, so comparing it to official Funko product images is recommended.

Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verifying that the box is free of dents, tears, or shelf wear. For the Amber variant, specifically check the translucent material for internal cloudiness, cracks, or discoloration that may have occurred during storage. If you are seeking a professional grade, submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's and packaging's preservation.
