Common questions about the Unicorn Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Unicorn Pop! Disney (SKU 725) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Disney Pop! line that was widely distributed through major retailers and Funko's own channels. While specific production runs vary, this item is generally available on the secondary market and does not carry the limited-edition status that defines rare collectibles.
The value of a Funko Pop! Unicorn (SKU 725) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $10 and $20 in retail stores. On the secondary market, sealed figures generally range from $15 to $25, while open figures are often worth less, frequently falling below $10. Prices can spike slightly during periods of high demand for Disney-themed collectibles, but this item is not considered a rare or high-value piece.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! figure, first examine the packaging for the official Funko logo, a scannable QR code, and the correct SKU number (725 for the Unicorn Disney figure) printed on the box. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper molding without flash marks, and the standard Funko "F" logo on the base. While there is no single definitive test for authenticity, significant deviations in color, weight, or packaging quality compared to known genuine examples are strong indicators of a counterfeit item.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a "Unicorn" Pop! Disney figure with SKU 725. While Funko has released various unicorn-themed figures, this specific SKU does not correspond to a widely documented standard release in available records.
The Unicorn Pop! Disney (SKU 725) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. It is a retired item that can only be purchased from third-party resellers or the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, and molding defects, while also verifying that the box is free of creases, tears, or significant wear. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on standardized criteria for both the figure and its packaging. Keep in mind that grading fees can be substantial, so many collectors prefer to simply document the item's condition with clear photographs for personal records.
