Common questions about the Unicorn Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Unicorn Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it was a standard production item released by Funko in 2023. It was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning production numbers were high and it is not a limited edition.
The Unicorn Pop! Movies (SKU 1286) is a standard retail Funko Pop! vinyl figure, and its value is generally determined by its condition and whether it remains in the original sealed box. As a mass-produced item from 2023, it typically sells for near-retail price or slightly below on the secondary market, with no significant premium expected for the standard version.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! figure, examine the paint quality for smooth application without drips, check that the eyes are properly aligned and glossy, and verify that the base is flat with no sharp edges. You should also inspect the packaging for high-quality printing and ensure the SKU 1286 matches the official Funko catalog for the 2023 Unicorn release. If the figure feels lightweight, has a strong chemical smell, or displays significant molding flaws, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Unicorn Pop! Movies was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Unicorn Pop! Movies figure, so it is no longer in print or available for purchase new from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear in the secondary market through resellers, it is not currently produced by Funko.
Grading a Unicorn Pop! Movies figure involves inspecting the vinyl for common defects such as seam lines, paint overspray, or chipped edges, particularly around the horn and hooves. You should also check the packaging for any creases, tears, or damage to the window, as these significantly impact the value of the sealed item. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its overall condition.
