The Unmasked Star-Lord Marvel Pop! (SKU 52) is not considered rare. It was a standard production figure released in 2014 and remains widely available in the secondary market, typically selling for prices close to its original retail value.
The Unmasked Star-Lord Marvel Pop! (SKU 52) is a common 2014 release that typically sells for approximately $8 to $15 in new condition on the secondary market. Prices for this specific figure are generally lower than its masked counterpart due to its lower rarity and the fact that it was widely available during its initial release window.
Authenticating a 2014 Funko Pop! requires inspecting the physical details, as the 2014 production run is significantly older and more susceptible to counterfeiting than recent releases. Look for a clear, sharp logo on the base, a smooth and even paint application without drips, and a properly aligned seam where the head meets the body. Additionally, verify that the SKU number 52 is clearly printed on the box and that the window is sealed with original, unpeeled plastic, though note that the absence of a holographic sticker is normal for this era.

The Unmasked Star-Lord Marvel Pop! (SKU 52) is discontinued and no longer in print. It is not available to buy new from Funko or major retailers, meaning it can only be purchased as a used item through the secondary market.
To grade a Unmasked Star-Lord Marvel Pop!, you should submit the figure in its original sealed box to a professional grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical grade based on the box's condition, including factors like corner sharpness, edge wear, and surface scuffs. For a self-condition check, inspect the box under bright light for any dents, scratches, or fading, and verify that the window is clear and free of cracks. Since this 2014 release is a common variant, its value is heavily dependent on the box's pristine condition, so any visible damage will significantly reduce its market price.
