Common questions about the Ursula As Vanessa Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Ursula as Vanessa Pop! Disney figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from the Disney Villains line. It is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets, and its common status means it does not command a premium price over its original retail value.
There is no established market value for a "Ursula as Vanessa" Funko Pop, as this specific character design does not exist in the official Disney Pop! catalog. Ursula and Vanessa are distinct characters, and Funko does not produce a figure depicting Ursula in Vanessa's costume. Consequently, any listing for this item is likely a misidentification, a custom third-party modification, or a scam, meaning it has no standard retail or collector value.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! Ursula As Vanessa (SKU 740), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself has a smooth, consistent plastic finish without visible mold lines or paint overspray. Check the base of the figure for a clear, legible "Funko" logo and the specific character name, as counterfeits often feature blurry text or misspellings. Additionally, compare the eye color and paint application against official Funko product images, as authentic figures typically have precise, clean detailing that is difficult for unauthorized reproductions to replicate.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Funko Pop! Disney figure of Ursula as Vanessa with SKU 740. This specific character combination and SKU number do not correspond to a standard, widely documented release in the Funko Pop! Disney lineup, so I cannot provide a verified release date without risking speculation.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Ursula As Vanessa Pop! Disney (SKU 740) is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. This figure is widely considered out of print, meaning it is typically only available through the secondary market from third-party sellers.
To condition-check a Funko Pop! figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the face and hair where wear is most common. Verify that the figure is securely seated in the base without any gaps or wobble, and check the packaging for any creases, tears, or damage to the window. If you are seeking a formal grade for resale purposes, you would need to submit the item to a professional third-party grading service, as there is no standardized in-house grading system for individual Pop! figures.
