Common questions about the Vampire Jack (Metallic) Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Vampire Jack (Metallic) Pop! Disney is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Disney Villains series, and while metallic variants often have lower print runs than standard figures, this specific item is widely available and not classified as a limited edition or exclusive release.
The value of the Vampire Jack (Metallic) Pop! Disney figure varies significantly based on its condition and whether it remains in the original sealed box. As a specific metallic variant, it generally commands a higher price than the standard edition, typically ranging from $20 to $40 for a new, unopened figure, though prices can fluctuate with market demand. For an accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! #598 Vampire Jack (Metallic), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the plastic window is intact. Examine the figure for consistent paint application, particularly on the metallic finish, and ensure the sculpting matches official product images without visible seams or rough edges. Check the base for a clear, legible "Funko" logo and the correct copyright year, as counterfeit items often feature blurry text or missing branding. If the packaging or figure quality seems suspicious, compare it directly against high-resolution images from Funko's official website or a reputable retailer.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Vampire Jack (Metallic) Pop! Disney figure with SKU 598. While Funko regularly releases metallic variants of popular characters, the exact launch date for this specific item is not documented in available records.
Funko has discontinued the production of the Vampire Jack (Metallic) Pop! Disney figure, so it is no longer available to buy new from the manufacturer. You can only find this item on the secondary market through resellers, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To condition-check a Vampire Jack (Metallic) Pop! Disney, inspect the figure for common defects such as paint chips, scratches, or misaligned eyes, paying particular attention to the metallic finish which can show scuffs more easily than standard vinyl. Verify that the figure is complete with all accessories and that the box is free of significant damage, as the packaging is a major component of the item's value. For a formal grade, submit the figure to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its physical condition and completeness.
