The Velociraptor Pop! Movies figure (SKU 888) is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released by Funko in 2020 and remains widely available in both new and used condition.
The retail value of the 2020 Velociraptor Pop! Movies figure (SKU 888) is typically between $10 and $15 for a new, sealed item. Because this is a standard, non-exclusive release from a major franchise, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, and used copies generally sell for less than the original retail price.
To authenticate your 2020 Velociraptor Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the packaging displays the official Funko logo, the "Pop! Movies" branding, and a barcode that matches SKU 888. Examine the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the absence of mold lines or seams, which are common indicators of counterfeit items. Additionally, check the bottom of the figure for a clear, legible copyright stamp that reads "© Funko" along with the year of manufacture. If the packaging lacks a holographic sticker or the vinyl feels unusually lightweight and porous compared to genuine examples, the item may be a replica.

Funko has discontinued the Velociraptor Pop! Movies figure, so it is no longer in print or available to purchase new from official retailers. While the item is no longer produced, it may occasionally appear on the secondary market through third-party sellers, though availability and pricing can vary significantly.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verifying that the box is free from significant wear, creases, or damage. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will encapsulate the figure and assign a numerical score based on its physical state. Be aware that grading fees and turnaround times vary by service, and the process is irreversible.
