The Velociraptor Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2018 release of the *Jurassic World* movie line and was widely distributed through major retailers. While specific variants like Chase editions may be harder to find, the standard version remains a common collectible.
The value of a Funko Pop! Velociraptor (SKU 549) varies significantly based on condition and market fluctuations, but it typically sells for approximately $10 to $20 in good condition. Prices for sealed, in-box figures are generally higher, often ranging from $15 to $25, while loose figures command less. As a common release from the 2018 *Jurassic World* line, it is not considered a rare collectible, so its value remains relatively stable and accessible for most buyers.
To authenticate a 2018 Velociraptor Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the SKU 549 is printed on the bottom of the base and matches the number on the box. Examine the paint application for consistency, as genuine Funko figures typically have clean lines without significant bleeding, and check that the plastic is smooth without rough mold seams. The box should feature the standard Funko logo and a barcode, and the figure itself should have the correct proportions and articulation points specific to the 2018 release. If the figure feels lightweight, has poor paint quality, or lacks the proper SKU, it is likely a counterfeit.

You can assess the condition of a Funko Pop! by inspecting the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, and checking the packaging for tears, creases, or faded printing. For a formal grade, send the figure to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will evaluate the item and assign a numerical score based on its physical state. Keep in mind that grading costs money and the process takes time, so it is typically reserved for high-value items or those intended for resale.
