No, the Velociraptor Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2020 and remains widely available through major retailers and secondary markets. Because it was part of a large, popular movie franchise line, its production run was substantial, keeping its value relatively low compared to limited-edition or exclusive variants.
The standard retail price for the Funko Pop! Velociraptor (SKU 888) is typically around $12.99, and its value in the secondary market generally hovers between $10 and $15 for a sealed, unopened box. Because this is a common, mass-produced figure from a major franchise, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price unless it is in a rare variant or exceptionally high-grade condition.
To authenticate your Velociraptor Pop! Movies figure, verify that the packaging features the official Funko logo, a barcode, and a copyright notice indicating the year 2020. The figure itself should have a smooth, consistent vinyl finish with clean paint application and no visible mold lines or seams. You can also cross-reference the SKU 888 against Funko’s official product database to confirm the item’s legitimacy and production details.
