To authenticate your Hot Toys VGM 88 Luna Snow, first verify the packaging integrity, including the sealed plastic wrap and the presence of the official Hot Toys logo and product label. Check that the SKU 915766 and UPC 4895228626196 match the manufacturer's official records for this specific release. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct articulation points, as these are common indicators of authenticity. Hot Toys has not officially announced a discontinuation date for the VGM 88 Luna Snow, so it remains technically in print. However, as a limited-edition collectible, availability is often intermittent and dependent on retailer stock rather than continuous production. You should check major retailers like Amazon, Hot Toys' official store, or specialty shops to confirm current new-in-box availability.
To grade the Hot Toys VGM 88 Luna Snow, first inspect the paint for any chipping, fading, or smudges, paying close attention to the white and pink accents. Check the articulation points for looseness or play, and examine the base and accessories for cracks or missing parts. For a formal grade, send the figure to a professional service like PSA or Beckett, which will evaluate it against standard condition scales. If grading in-house, compare the item against known production defects for this specific SKU to identify any factory flaws.
