No, the Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's 2020 MLB series that was widely available through major retailers. While specific variants like chomsky or exclusive releases may have lower print runs, the standard SKU 40 figure remains a common collectible.
The Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB figure (SKU 40) is a common 2020 release that typically retails for approximately $10 to $12. Because it is a mass-produced item with high availability, its secondary market value generally remains at or below its original retail price, meaning it is not considered a high-value collectible.
To authenticate your Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB figure, first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko shrink wrap and that the figure inside matches the specific SKU 40 design released in 2020. Examine the figure for consistent paint application, correct proportions, and the standard Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit poor paint quality, misaligned parts, or missing branding. If the figure is unboxed, compare its details against high-resolution images of the authentic 2020 release to ensure there are no discrepancies in the player's likeness or uniform.
The Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB figure, so it is no longer in print or available to buy new from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, those listings represent used or resold stock rather than new production.
Pop! vinyl figures are generally not sent to professional grading services like PSA or CGC for a numerical grade, as the industry standard is to assess them based on their condition status (e.g., Mint, Near Mint, Good) rather than a sealed score. To condition-check a Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop!, you should inspect the figure for paint chips, scratches, or misaligned parts, and verify that the original box is free of significant wear, creases, or damage. For the most accurate valuation, compare your specific figure and box against current market listings for the same SKU to determine its fair value based on its observed condition.
