No, the Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's 2021 MLB line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available in the secondary market.
The standard Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB figure (SKU 71) typically sells for between $10 and $15 in new condition on the secondary market. As a mass-produced item from a common 2021 release, it does not command a premium price and generally trades at or slightly below its original retail value.
To authenticate your Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB figure, first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko shrink wrap and that the figure itself features the standard glossy finish and consistent paint application typical of the brand. Check the bottom of the figure for the molded "Funko" logo and ensure the SKU number 71 matches the product details on the packaging. If the figure feels lightweight, has rough seams, or lacks the specific sculpting details of the 2021 release, it may be a counterfeit, so comparing it side-by-side with a verified authentic example is the most reliable method for confirmation.
The Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB was released in 2021 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While the item is out of production, it may occasionally appear on secondary marketplaces like eBay or Amazon, though prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
You cannot grade a Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pop! MLB figure through major third-party grading services like PSA, as they do not grade vinyl collectibles. Instead, you should inspect the item yourself for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or figure misalignment, and compare it against high-resolution photos of a known good example to assess its condition.
