Common questions about the War Machine Marvel Pop! from Funko (2013).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the War Machine Marvel Pop! (SKU 24) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the original Marvel line released in 2013, and it was widely available in retail stores and online during its initial release window. Because it was not a limited edition or exclusive variant, it remains a common collectible item with a large production run.
The value of a 2013 Funko Pop! War Machine (SKU 24) varies significantly based on its condition and packaging. A sealed figure in its original box typically sells for between $15 and $30, while an unboxed figure in good condition usually ranges from $5 to $15. Prices can fluctuate depending on current market demand and the specific platform where the item is listed.
To authenticate your 2013 War Machine Marvel Pop! (SKU 24), first verify that the packaging is a standard Funko Pop! box with the correct logo and that the figure itself has the characteristic vinyl finish and proportionate head size. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright stamp, which should read "© Marvel" and include the year "2013" or a similar date consistent with the release period. While Funko does not use unique serial numbers for individual figures, you can cross-reference the box art and SKU number against official Funko release records to confirm the item matches the original 2013 production run. If the vinyl feels unusually soft, the paint is peeling in a way inconsistent with age, or the box lacks standard manufacturing details, the item may be a counterfeit.
The War Machine Marvel Pop! was released in 2013 by Funko.
The War Machine Marvel Pop! (SKU 24) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2013 release, it has been discontinued, meaning any new purchases must be sourced from the secondary market.
To grade a War Machine Marvel Pop! vinyl figure, you should submit it to a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, CGC, or Beckett, which will evaluate the item and assign a numerical score based on its condition. Before submission, inspect the figure for common defects like paint chips, scratches, or loose parts, as these significantly impact the final grade. While you can perform a basic visual check at home, only professional graders can provide a standardized, market-recognized condition assessment.
