The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Wheezing Demon Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2024 as part of their regular movie licensing line. Like most standard Pop! figures, it was widely distributed through major retail channels and is generally available for purchase at retail price.
The Wheezing Demon Pop! Movies (SKU 1640) is a 2024 release, so its value is primarily determined by current retail pricing and secondary market demand for recent Funko items. As a relatively new figure, it typically trades near its original retail price, often between $12 and $15, unless it is sold in a sealed box or as part of a complete set. Specific market fluctuations depend on the condition of the item and local availability, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay will provide the most accurate current valuation.
It is not possible to definitively authenticate a specific Funko Pop! figure without physically inspecting the item, as counterfeiters frequently replicate packaging and box details. To verify authenticity, you should examine the figure's paint application, seam lines, and the quality of the plastic, looking for signs of poor molding or off-brand logos that are common in fakes. Additionally, cross-check the SKU 1640 against Funko's official product database to ensure the "Wheezing Demon" character and 2024 release date align with legitimate catalog records.

To grade a Wheezing Demon Pop! Movies figure, you should submit it to a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, CGC, or Beckett, which will evaluate the item and assign a numerical condition score. Before submission, inspect the vinyl for common defects like mold lines, paint chips, or scratches, and ensure the figure is in its original sealed box if you are seeking a graded box score. Be aware that grading fees can be significant relative to the figure's market value, so verify current pricing to determine if the cost is justified.
