No, the Winged Monkey with Basket Pop! Movies is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's 2024 catalog and is widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces.
The Winged Monkey with Basket Pop! Movies (SKU 1520) is a standard retail item from Funko's 2024 release, and its value is generally tied to its original retail price, typically ranging between $12 and $15. As a common, non-exclusive figure, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, so it is worth approximately its retail cost if purchased new.
To authenticate your Funko Pop, verify that the box is sealed with the correct 2024 release date and that the figure features the standard glossy vinyl finish with crisp paint application. Check the base for the embossed Funko logo and ensure the SKU 1520 matches the product details on the packaging. If the figure feels lightweight, has a rough texture, or displays blurred printing, it is likely a counterfeit, as genuine 2024 releases maintain consistent quality control standards.

I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Winged Monkey with Basket Pop! Movies (SKU 1520) is currently in print or available for purchase as a new item. Funko frequently discontinues specific movie tie-in figures, and without access to real-time inventory data, I cannot verify its current production status.
Grading a Funko Pop! vinyl figure is primarily a visual inspection process rather than a formal numerical grading system used for trading cards. You should examine the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, mold marks, or scratches on the vinyl surface, as well as any damage to the packaging. For the Winged Monkey with Basket specifically, check that the basket accessory is intact and that the wings are not bent or chipped. While third-party services like PSA can grade vinyl figures, most collectors simply assess the item's condition as "Mint in Box" (MIB) or "Loose" based on the presence of these cosmetic flaws.
