Common questions about the Wolfman Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Wolfman Pop! Disney (SKU 454) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run for the Disney Monsters lineup. These figures were widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, making them relatively easy to find in both new and used condition.
The value of the Funko Pop! Disney Wolfman (SKU 454) fluctuates based on market demand, condition, and whether the figure is sealed in its original box. As a standard retail release, its value is generally modest, typically ranging from $10 to $25 for a new, unopened figure, while used copies often sell for less. For the most accurate current pricing, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
To authenticate your Wolfman Pop! Disney (SKU 454), first verify that the box is sealed with the correct Funko logo and that the figure itself features the standard matte finish and consistent paint application typical of genuine products. Check the bottom of the figure for a clear, raised "Funko" logo and ensure the plastic feels solid rather than brittle or overly soft. While there is no single definitive serial number for this specific item, significant deviations in color, weight, or packaging quality are strong indicators of a counterfeit. If the item appears suspicious, comparing it side-by-side with a verified authentic example from a reputable retailer is the most reliable method for confirmation.
The specific release date for the Wolfman Pop! Disney (SKU 454) is not reliably documented in available public records. While Funko releases these figures in periodic waves, the exact launch date for this specific item cannot be confirmed without speculation.
Funko has not officially announced the discontinuation of the Wolfman Pop! (SKU 454), so it remains technically in print. However, availability for this specific character is often inconsistent, and it is frequently sold out on major retail platforms. You may need to check secondary markets or local collectible shops to find a new, sealed copy.
There is no official third-party grading service for Funko Pop! vinyl figures, so you cannot obtain a certified grade for this item. To condition-check the figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or discoloration, and verify that the head is properly aligned and the eyes are intact. Additionally, examine the box for any dents, tears, or wear, as the packaging condition significantly impacts the item's value for collectors.
