Common questions about the Xander Bogaerts Pop! MLB from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Xander Bogaerts Pop! MLB (SKU 46) is not considered rare. It was part of the standard 2020 MLB series, which was produced in large quantities and is widely available in the secondary market. Its common status makes it an accessible entry point for collectors rather than a scarce or limited-edition piece.
The 2020 Funko Pop! MLB Xander Bogaerts (SKU 46) is a standard edition vinyl figure that typically retails for approximately $12.00. In the secondary market, unopened copies generally trade between $10 and $15, while opened figures often sell for slightly less, around $8 to $12, depending on condition.
To authenticate your 2020 Xander Bogaerts Pop! MLB figure, first verify the box seal and check for the official Funko logo and SKU 46 printed on the packaging. Inspect the vinyl for consistent molding, sharp facial details, and the correct MLB logo on the jersey, as poor paint application or blurry features often indicate a counterfeit. You can also cross-reference the figure's dimensions and weight against known specifications for the 2020 MLB series to ensure it matches the standard production run.
The Xander Bogaerts Pop! MLB was released in 2020 by Funko.
The 2020 Xander Bogaerts Pop! MLB (SKU 46) is generally considered out of print, as Funko typically discontinues specific MLB figures after a season or when a player changes teams or retires. While it is no longer sold new directly from Funko, you can still find new, unopened boxes through third-party retailers or online marketplaces, though availability is limited and prices may be higher than the original retail price.
To condition-check this figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the face, hands, and the baseball bat. Verify that the eyes are aligned and that the figure stands level on its base without wobbling. Since this is a 2020 release, check for any yellowing of the vinyl or fading of the printed details, which can occur with age. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the figure to a professional grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on a standardized scale.
