No, the Xenomorph Pop! Movies figure (SKU 430) is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released by Funko in 2017 and was widely available through major retail channels and online marketplaces. While specific variants like Chased editions are limited, the standard vinyl figure remains common in the secondary market.
The standard Xenomorph Pop! Movies figure (SKU 430) is a common collectible that typically sells for between $5 and $15 in new, sealed condition on the secondary market. Because this figure was released in 2017 and is not a limited edition, its value has not increased significantly over time. Prices may vary slightly depending on the specific retailer and the condition of the packaging.
To authenticate a 2017 Xenomorph Pop! (SKU 430), first verify that the figure is made of solid vinyl with a smooth, matte finish rather than a glossy plastic look. Check the base for a clean, molded "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is consistent without significant bleeding or excess. You can also cross-reference the specific mold details and packaging design against official Funko archives, as the 2017 release typically features the classic black body with distinct ridges. If the figure feels lightweight, has a strong chemical smell, or lacks the proper branding on the base, it is likely a counterfeit.

The Xenomorph Pop! Movies figure (SKU 430) is considered out of print by Funko. While it is no longer available for purchase directly from the manufacturer, it can typically be found in the secondary market through third-party retailers and collectors.
To grade a Xenomorph Pop! Movies figure, first inspect the vinyl for common defects such as mold lines, paint overspray, or chipped details on the ridges and limbs. Verify that the head articulation moves smoothly without excessive play and that the eyes are intact and properly aligned. For a formal grade, submit the figure to a professional service like PSA or Beckett, which will assess it on a 1-10 scale based on these factors, though most standard retail figures are not typically graded for investment purposes.
